In this newly created role, we are seeking a professional to champion website revenue and conversion optimization for key conversion funnels. This role is accountable for identification of opportunities to drive conversion and to lead requirements, overall project flow and own results. This candidate understands the importance of collaboration, and can distill highly complex issues into easy to understand requirements. Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for the planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle; defining product objectives and expected outcome, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with numerous internal teams to ensure goals are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ownership of Key Conversion Funnels: Role will focus on key funnels on our e-commerce sites which drive commerce conversion and name conversion. These areas of focus include (but are not limited to) Product Page, Shop and Pages, Name Capture, Landing Pages, Promotion and Recommendation Engines, Search and Check Out flow: Proactively identify tools, features or messaging to improve experience and conversion on our sites, Develop strategies to leverage multiple domestic and international brands for AllPosters.com, Art.com and their multinational sister sites, including the maximization of localization and translation.
Reflect Customer Needs: Ensure customer needs are met, and hurdles are overcome. Partner with Web Optimization team to develop clear feedback loop to incorporate feedback from CSS, and other customer loops.
Flawless Project Management: Owns on-time, on budget, on-spec, on-results delivery of projects for e-commerce optimization. Works seamlessly with Technology PMO and internal/external design and UI teams to develop master project plan. Ensures all work streams are integrated and key stakeholders deliver with clear accountability.
Lead and Collaborate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, user experience, creative and technology to drive product definition and act as overall project manager: Partner with Web Optimization team to create a clear site dashboard, set and measure features, products, programs and promotions on our web sites, Translate the product vision/opportunity into comprehensive requirements, Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Technical Skill: Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure the product and platform architecture is aligned with the product roadmap: While not expected to participate in engineering, expectation is that you support identification and problem solving of key implementation opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5-8 years experience as a Technology Business Analyst or Product Manager
Solid understanding of e-Commerce and internet business
Results driven with the ability to initiate and lead projects
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
Experience with competitive analysis, A/B testing, web metric analysis, and iterative design
Demonstrated track record of using these methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the options
Strong communication skills and the ability to stay highly organized
Ability to work on multiple projects, assignments and cross-group activities in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders
Excellent presentation skills combined with analytical acumen
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Possess a passion for innovation and continual improvement
Education in the technical and business domains (BA required)
