We are now building a high volume, fast growing commercial business that complements the open source model, supported by an online store today which has over 10,000 add-ons used by developers to design, build and deploy world-class websites quickly and simply.
DNN Corp. is looking for an e-commerce manager to drive the operations and growth of our online marketplace for third party DNN applications. The person must combine strong online marketing experience, customer service skills, and business management skills with basic technology expertise. The breakdown of efforts will be approximately 1/2 customer and vendor support, 1/4 business reporting and analysis and site maintenance tasks, and 1/4 online marketing and strategic projects.
The DNN Store plays a key role in the DNN commercial ecosystem. The site enables hundreds of third-party vendors to offer thousands of software extensions to the worldwide DNN user base. End users add extensions to their DNN site deployment to add functionality or to change the appearance of their web site.
Overall responsibility for day-to-day operations of the DNN Store online marketplace.
Customer and vendor support. Work with customers in regards to financial transactions, downloads, and facilitation of timely resolution to field complaints and problems. Own and drive customer satisfaction metrics.
Plan and execute strategic growth initiatives by creating and executing project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Suggest and manage site improvements and upgrades. Work closely with engineering and product teams to enhance functionality and monitor and maintain site performance.
Drive awareness and viral marketing strategies via online marketing. Incorporate web and social networking techniques to reach target audiences.
Track and analyze sales to understand and capitalize on buying trends and patterns.
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus.
Ability to think at a high level about market strategy and vision.
Previous experience managing the day-to-day operations of an ecommerce site.
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Proven customer service and vendor support expertise. Strong customer focus with success in driving customer satisfaction, feedback and reporting.
Established financial / business reporting / analysis experience and product management expertise.
Online marketing experience. Proven online end-user adoption, understanding key performance indicators, business requirements, and other areas critical to Internet media such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), user interface optimization, and design principles.
Previous hands on experience with HTML is preferred.
