Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced IBM WTX developer to help build our next generation integration mapping architecture. Responsibilities:
Designing and building frameworks to enable hundreds of partners to be integrated with variations on standardized EDI and XML formats
Designing and building maps that include proper error handling, auditing and unit tests.
Designing, building and deploying maps and map systems that can support a very high throughput.
Developing and testing of WTX maps to meet business requirements using WTX Map Designer
Setting up integrations with partners using WTX Partner Manager.
Troubleshooting production environments and performance tuning of WTX enviroment.
Working with the Professional Services team to understand and define mapping requirements
Ensuring proper documentation for all technical specifications and design.
Job Requirements
BA or BS degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
More than 3 years of hands on experience doing development with WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX)
More than 3 years of development experience with WebSphere Partner Manager
Experience with Type Tree Designer, IFD (Integration Flow Designer), WTX Launcher with multiple-processes configuration
Hands on experience with prior versions of WTX (Mercator 6.x)
Good knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
Experience with performance tuning of maps and mapping systems
Solid understanding of the ANSI X12 and Edifact EDI standards and transaction sets
Solid understanding of XML, XML Schema and Schema design
Knowledge and experience of Web Services is a plus
