As a eCommerce Analyst, you will deliver thoughtful insights and reporting on the performance of our eCommerce businesses and will identify and present data-driven insights for internal stakeholders. Leveraging his/her knowledge of the core eCommerce measurements, the eCommerce Analyst will spend his/her time designing and maintaining weekly reports and dashboards, performing regular and ad hoc analysis on site productivity, profiling visitors by identifying trends and behaviors, conducting regular tagging audits, and providing recommendations and summaries to the senior leadership and web team. As the owner of eCommerce reporting initiatives, all data related inquiries will filter through the eCommerce Analyst.
How you?ll do it
Assist in the planning and execution of sales promotions.
Deliver key eCommerce insights, including: Purchase funnel analytics, Customer Churn and Retention rates, Lifetime Value, Channel Performance, Path to Purchase, Product Finding Methods, and more.
Prepare weekly and monthly summaries for management and eCommerce stakeholders & ensure all outgoing reports are relevant, clear, well-written and accurate
Improve current reporting practices by identifying gaps in our data capture; regularly conduct tagging audits to ensure the accuracy of our data
Organize large volumes of data and summarize results for quick interpretation .
What you?ll need
Minimum 4+ years of analyst experience providing for retail or consumer goods businesses
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Math or Finance
Proficient with the leading web analytics platforms
Advanced Excel Skills
Understanding of the online Retail KPIs
Creative thinker with strong written & verbal communication skills
Strong internal client service skills
Knowledge of SQL an asset
What you?ve done
Provide reports, information and recommendations for ad-hoc requests
Track visitor behaviors and create profiles for personalization
Analyze data from marketing campaigns: user response, conversions, slippage, email attrition
Advise on improvements for business efficiencies and effectiveness
Scrub etail sites for consistency and messaging
Track and monitor promotional activity
Consistently track and analyze Amazon ARA data
Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in eCommerce, business analysis and tools/techniques
