Job Description
The eDiscovery Specialist is a largely technical role, supporting the eDiscovery Manager to coordinate receipt, processing, and delivery of electronic data from and to the ePS (Project Management) Team. This position is responsible for load file creation and modification support, receiving inventory, and making electronic data from eDiscovery manager or Project Management team available for processing. Also responsible for validating and delivering processing results from the Operations team to the Project Management team, assist in the maintenance of project tracking documents and analyze reports and conduct exceptions to ensure final product quality. This position will also troubleshoot and resolve application system and/or software problems. There is a second shift option (2pm-10pm) available in addition to the traditional shift.
Experience and Skills
Job Requirements:
Two years of power-user experience working with Litigation Support Software such as Concordance, Summation, DBText, InMagic CS, or MS Access - creating, modifying, and exporting from such applications.
Experience using electronic processing software such as LAW, Access Data, IPRO eCapture, Cricket, Discovery Cracker, or similar product.
General understanding of the EDRM.
Experience with search technologies and tools, such as Lucene, DTSearch, SQL Server, etc.
Experience with programming and scripting languages like VBscript, Perl and C#
Advance text editing skills. (UltraEdit)
General understanding of relational databases, system architecture, and networking
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
