Position Description:Revision3, the leading special interest video network, is looking for an Editor to work closely with the Revision3 Ad Sales team to create campaign sizzle reels and custom advertising content. This role will require strong editing, motion graphics, and story telling chops to create effective pitch materials. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with producing experience, someone with strong communication skills who can drive a project to completion and able to adapt to changing schedules & feedback to meet the needs of the client.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Create and edit campaign sizzle reels & custom sponsorship content (pre-rolls, ad integrations)
Work closely with the Ad Sales team to gather & organize source assets along with crafting the right message for the project
Prioritize requests and revisions based on client and show delivery deadlines
Communicate and set appropriate internal expectations based on the scope of each project
Capture and animate additional images, video and web content as needed
Select the appropriate music/sound effects and prepare final audio for export
Archive, organize and templatize projects to streamline production as necessary
Develop creative & procedural best practices for campaign sizzle reel and advertising production
May be asked to work on special initiatives or perform other duties as needed
Required Skills:
Highly creative, self-motivated and able to work independently with little direction
Must be highly proficient with these applications: Adobe CS6, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Media Encoder, Plural Eyes, Compressor, Final Cut Pro
Motion graphics skills are a must
Able to meet deadlines set by clients and the Ad Sales team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must have excellent verbal and writing skills
Knowledge and understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, audio compression, and standards for web video
Must be able to provide examples of your work
Education:
At least a 4-year degree in Film/TV/Media or comparable work experience
