Cracked.com is looking for a full time editor to work out of the Santa Monica office, and help oversee expansion of the voice into new content formats. The Editor will be expected to edit and rewrite feature articles, write columns, assist in managing the Cracked.com writer's workshop in preparation for the biweekly pitch meeting, and contribute to video script writing.
Requirements:
- Tireless work ethic.
- Experience writing in the Cracked.com voice.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluency with photo shop, content management systems if possible.
- Google-Fu.
- Ability to commute to Santa Monica every day.
- Writing, editing and thinking critically about Cracked.com content.
- Juggling many different, constantly evolving content creation schedules.
- Exploring new directions to take the Cracked.com voice.
