THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED JOB SUMMARY: Training: The primary role is to create, continually update, and deliver training efforts across Health Integrated services to: facilitate training, schedule training sessions, maintain a participant database, update the calendar with classes, perform surveys and communicate training needs to Operations, maintain education/training files, prerequisites and pre/post training assignments (as determined by the curriculum); develop, proofread/edit, format and coordinate all clinical education/training material, communication, scheduling, documentation (including training labs/activities, manuals, proficiency assessments, pre and post assignments, evaluations). This position may not conduct any activities that require evaluation or interpretation of clinical information.

Education/License/Certification: AA/BA required or equivalent experience; prefer certification in healthcare or training specialization.
Experience: At least two (1) years of healthcare experience in medical and/or behavioral insurance is preferred; a minimum of one (1) year experience creating and editing training documentation required; a minimum of two (2)
years? experience facilitating training preferred; minimum of (1) year facilitating training required; working knowledge of adult learning theory and training development models, such as ADDIE, required.

Ability to deliver and receive effective feedback
Demonstrated ability to work independently to produce documents supportive of training delivery regardless of the delivery system of the training, meaning web-based; computer-based or via a classroom setting

Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in a training environment formulating actionable items as a result;

Training Job Performance/Responsibilities:
Obtain training and/or certification as needed;
Deliver clinical system training
Lead development and delivery of training for all clinical applications and other platforms as needed;
Facilitate educational offerings for non-clinical, clinical, and administrative departments for employee orientation, compliance and soft-skills, as needed;
Schedule, communicate and coordinate educational offerings and on-going staff in-services;
Independently facilitate and lead training initiatives with research, development, and design of training manuals, documentation, activities, proficiency assessments and other educational material (online, self-paced, web-enabled);
Assure competency checklists are completed for all new hires before being transitioned to operations department;
Offer suggestions and assist Director with identifying and then addressing and implementing current and future training needs;
Act as a role model and coach, advocating company objectives/goals; and facilitating conflict resolution in an effective and supportive manner;
Manage time and attendance parameters to support training and department needs;
Use independent judgment while researching and resolving end user technical issues;
Responds to ad hoc requests for support and analysis;
Support and perform other duties as requested by the Director.

Identify and communicate potential issues or concerns, proactively with the Director;
Maintain a courteous and professional attitude when working with all staff members and the management team;
Be prepared for, attend and actively participate in team and operational meetings; and deliver presentations as requested;
