We are seeking an eLearning developer/technical writer to work as part of a team to deploy web-based, multi-media training and assist in the development of online help content and instructor-led course materials. The individual is responsible for developing web-based training modules that utilize digital media which instructs and educates people across the organization and for our customers. This individual will participate in the design, creation, and implementation of all training created by the Education Department.
Technical Requirements:
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
Proficient with rapid course development tools, especially Captivate
Experience in critical programming languages: HTML, Actionscript 3.0, Javascript, CSS, XML, SCORM
Technical Writing/Instructional Design Experience
Professional Experience:
5-7 years experience designing, developing and implementing interactive e-learning programs/courseware in a corporate setting.
Proven experience with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
Proficient in all aspects of training development and delivery, including curriculum design and development, project management, implementation strategies, measurement, needs analysis, and facilitation.
Proficient in instructional design principles for distance learning including curriculum development, instructional strategies, course materials, assessment techniques, appropriate integration of instructional technologies and best practices.
Experience with using Learning Management Systems (Especially Moodle) for eLearning distribution.
Must possess a creative approach to eLearning design that engages client audiences in learning.
Proficient with incorporating graphics, animations, digital audio, video, other multimedia elements & interactivity to support teaching and learning.
Must possess a well-developed design aesthetic.
Experience in managing complex e-learning projects helpful.
Experience in defining design criteria and templates a plus.
Personal Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under aggressive timeframes. Candidate must communicate effectively, both written and verbally, be organized and detail-oriented.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision, as well as in a team.
Must work effectively with internal groupsto meet production deadlines.
Education:
Bachelor of Arts in Instructional Design, Education, or equivalent.
