Job Responsibilities:Working with design engineers for optical-electrical device developments.
Performing circuitry design and component selection
Working on schematic and PCB layout.
Developing firmware for fiber-optic modules.
Developing automation software for optical-electrical device calibration, testing and performance analysis.
Troubleshooting failed optical-electrical devices to find out the root causes.
Providing engineering support for production lines and customers.
Job Requirements:
EE/Computer engineering/Physics background with 3+ years experience in electrical hardware, firmware and automation software development.
Experience of schematic and multiple-layer PCB layout with ORCAD and/or PAD.
Experience of equipment interface programming for RS-232, GPIB and Ethernet.
Experience of software development using visual C++ and LabVIEW.
Experience of fiber-optic equipment-related programming.
Knowledge of optical filter and laser signal for telecommunication.
Knowledge of digital signal processing and data analysis.
Have strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Have good communication and team work skill.
Experience with fiber-optic industry is plus.
