SAGE is currently seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the weekend shift maintenance team. We are looking for individuals who have experience in a manufacturing setting with the ability to produce a high quality product. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and work in a team environment along with having good computer skills. Individuals must also have a high standard for safety, a background in industrial electrical construction and mid-high level of controls wiring and troubleshooting experience.
Responsibilities:
View and interpret North American and European electrical , pneumatic and vacuum schematics.
Assist Controls System Engineer in equipment troubleshooting and improvements.
Assist Plant Electrician with electrical projects.
Assist the Maintenance Department in maintaining plant equipment, PM?s and troubleshooting.
Maintain paper and electronic files of equipment manuals.
Ability to perform basic machining, welding, and fabrication work.
Disassemble, clean, and rebuild various pieces of equipment.
Audit and Verify LOTO-Try Out (TO) Procedures
Design or assist in designing parts needed for equipment improvement projects and/or upgrades.
Perform gauge calibration.
Maintain accurate records in the CMMS with regard to inspections and preventative /predictive maintenance and inventory of spare parts, and consumables.
Perform non-scheduled or emergency maintenance when required (24/7/365) to support operations and maintenance.
Ability to maintain productivity and positive attitude, ability to foster a team environment.
Must be safety conscious and abide by all workplace policies and procedures.
Independently motivated to produce results.
Perform other tasks as required to support production of SageGlass. Perform all other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:
2 yr. Associate's degree in Engineering-Technology or technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
Knowledge and experience with Equipment Lock Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Knowledge of test instruments such as an oscilloscope, DVM, etc.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis capabilities.
Hands on experience with PLC's, robots, motion controls and associated programming software.
Control network experience with ControlNet, DeviceNet, ProfiBus and Ethernet/IP.
Familiar with RSLogix, RSView, FactoryTalk View, PanelView Plus.
Familiar with Rockwell Automation and Siemens PLC's, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix and Step7.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
