SAGE is currently seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician to join the night shift maintenance team. We are looking for individuals who have experience in a manufacturing setting with the ability to produce a high quality product. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and work in a team environment along with having good computer skills. Individuals must also have a high standard for safety, a background in industrial electrical equipment and a mid to high level of controls wiring and troubleshooting experience.
Working hours: evenings/3rd Shift 10:00 pm - 6:00 am 4 days/week. On Thursday and/or Friday work 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
View and interpret North American and European electrical schematics.
View and interpret North American and European pneumatic and vacuum schematics.
Assist Controls System Engineer in equipment troubleshooting and improvements.
Assist the Maintenance Department in maintaining plant equipment.
Assist Plant Electrician with electrical projects.
Perform gauge calibration.
Audit and Verify LOTO-Try Out (TO) Procedures
Ability to maintain productivity and positive attitude, ability to foster a team environment.
Must be safety conscious and abide by all workplace policies and procedures.
Independently motivated to produce results.
Required Skills:
Associate's degree in Engineering or technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years? experience.
Knowledge and familiarity of National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience with Equipment Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
Knowledge of test instruments such as an oscilloscope, DVM, etc.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis capabilities.
Hands on experience with PLC's, robots, motion controls and associated programming software.
Control network experience with ControlNet, DeviceNet, ProfiBus and Ethernet/IP.
Familiar with RSLogix, RSView, FactoryTalk View, PanelView Plus.
Familiar with Rockwell Automation and Siemens PLC's, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix and Step7.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
