SAGE is currently seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician to join the 1st shift maintenance team. We are looking for individuals who have experience in a manufacturing setting with the ability to produce a high quality product. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and work in a team environment along with having good computer skills. Individuals must also have a high standard for safety, a background in industrial electrical construction and mid-high level of controls wiring and troubleshooting experience.
Responsibilities:
View and interpret North American and European electrical schematics.
View and interpret North American and European pneumatic and vacuum schematics.
Assist Controls System Engineer in troubleshooting and equipment set up.
Assist the maintenance department in maintaining plant equipment.
Must be safety conscious and abide by all workplace policies and procedures.
Independently motivated to produce results.
Ability to maintains productivity even in times of change.
Perform gauge calibration.
Required Skills:
Associate's degree in Engineering or technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years? experience.
Knowledge and familiarity of National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience with Equipment Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
Knowledge of test instruments such as an oscilloscope, DVM, etc.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis capabilities.
Hands on experience with PLC's, robots, motion controls and associated programming software.
Control network experience with ControlNet, DeviceNet, ProfiBus and Ethernet/IP.
Familiar with RSLogix, RSView, FactoryTalk View, PanelView Plus.
Familiar with Rockwell Automation and Siemens PLC's, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix and Step7.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
