The Email Campaign Manager will be responsible for every aspect of email campaign development and delivery, from ongoing system development to building and managing the workflow of all digital communications. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining corporate and consumer website content.
Essential Job Functions:
Development, scheduling and execution of email campaigns
Develop and create email campaigns to support marketing objectives for multiple clients
Create, monitor and adjust trigger-based and personalized emails
Route emails to appropriate parties for approval
Manage the email production schedule to ensure deadlines are met
Build and manage target lists for digital and print campaigns, including extensive QA process. Work closely with reporting and data team to ensure accurate, precise targeting analysis.
Provide comprehensive tracking, analysis and reporting for all email marketing efforts. Report on email performance metrics and make actionable recommendations for improvement
Continually test, analyze and optimize target criteria, content, landing pages, etc. to increase open, click and conversion rates
Recommend new ideas and innovations to grow and improve the email channel
Provide input for planning and managing email segmentation strategy, triggered and transactional emails
Actively use reporting, analysis and insight to develop and optimize campaigns
Monitor email list hygiene, quality, deliverability and growth
Provide monthly reporting to communications team
Monitor and troubleshoot content management systems to ensure optimal use and accuracy
Update/edit website content
Manage the web publication of documents and images.
Essential Job Requirements:
Strong project management skills, including the ability to organize projects from beginning to end and coordinating many moving parts with cross functional teams
Prior work experience in developing and scheduling customer email campaigns in a fast paced work environment
Experience with StrongMail or other email service provider
Experience developing targeted emails to select audiences
Great people skills for collaborating with colleagues across departments Strong attention to detail
Current knowledge of email marketing best practice
Experience with SQL is a plus
Ability to write HTML code for email creation
Experience with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, MS Office software is ideal
Experience maintaining dedicated web pages
Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing or related field
3+ years work experience in email marketing
Experience in direct response marketing a plus
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment
