THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Summary: As the Email Communications Manager, you will manage a team and oversee all email processes for the Marketing and Admissions teams. Working for the Director, Business Process Design, you will utilize our email delivery platform (Marketo) to launch and analyze email campaigns on a daily basis. You will build, customize, deploy and optimize email campaigns, ensuring quality execution and superior customer service. The right candidate must be analytical and have a strong understanding of targeting, test design, campaign execution and campaign management. You must thrive in a fast-paced business environment and have a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and strict deadlines.
Work with several stakeholders across the organization to define email communications objectives, strategies, and key success metrics for the Marketing and Admissions teams
Evaluate email communications, platform, workflow, processes, and policies to identify areas for potential improvement and risk mitigation
Manage the deployment of email campaigns, including:
? Defining optimal email program strategies
? Analyzing best data email list targets
? Selecting top-performing email creative and subject lines
? Working closely with the Marketing, Admissions and Creative teams and vendor to optimize campaigns
Manage email campaigns to ensure clear and timely communication on campaign status, progress, issues, or changes
Serve as primary liaison with internal teams for all email program and technical issues
Ensure timely development of reports and ad-hoc analyses to drivers of email communication operating metrics
Monitor reports and make recommendations to key stakeholders on opportunities to improve email communication effectiveness, efficiency, conversion and yield
Make necessary adjustments to campaign to yield better results (back-end work)
Propose, implement and monitor tests that enable continuous learning around admissions team workflow and processes
Identify and document email communications best practices to facilitate implementation across all admissions program teams
Work with Admissions Training Manager to update and maintain admissions training materials on email communications
Bachelors? degree required
Minimum of 3 - 4 years experience with the deployment of high-volume email campaigns
Proficient in marketing automations tools such as Marketo (preferred) or Eloqua and CRM platforms such as Saleforce.com
Ability to articulate and champion email marketing best practices and standards
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of HTML
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Superior written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Must have analytical proficiency; ability to assess data
Exceptional project management skills, strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
