Email Deliverability Specialist Responsys

General Description:
Responsible for monitoring, evaluation, and support of email deliverability customers for a high volume email system. Ensures that email messages are properly constructed to meet industry best practices. Monitors email sends to secure the highest possible delivery rate. Creates and maintains relationships with ISPs, customers (internal and external) and solutions providers to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues. Has a thorough understanding of Email best practices, e-marketing strategy, and a strong grasp of analytics. Works with existing monitoring software, and also assists in future development requirements. Some experience with international email regulations is a plus. Candidate should have a high level of proficiency with Excel, and feel comfortable presenting results and recommendations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years experience in internet/email marketing. Specific experience with email deliverability issues is preferred. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
High volume commercial/promotional email experience
Thorough understanding of email marketing concepts
Thorough knowledge of technical email construction and delivery
Knowledge of CAN-SPAM
Establishing and maintaining relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and E-mail Service Providers (ESPs)
E-mail authentication technologies (SenderID, Sender Policy Framework, DomainKeys, etc.)
E-mail filtering technologies
E-mail content rendering
Deliverability best-practices
SQL Proficient
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficient
Experience with ISPs preferred
Experience with internet routing issues and troubleshooting
Good written and verbal communication skills
