The Email and Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for the strategy and execution of email blast campaigns and trigger email programs. This person is responsible for creating persuasive programs that convert prospects into customers, as well as retain existing customers through campaigns that are relevant and timely. The email and marketing automation manager is responsible for executing ways to build and maintain the email database as well as drive revenue through each campaign.
?Build, execute and automate email marketing campaigns using Eloqua that are relevant to the recipient and maximize ROI
?Work with internal teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical execution for email campaigns such as blast and trigger email programs that include welcome, nurture, retention, cross-sell and upgrade programs.
?Segment and leverage the marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting.
?Create and update marketing campaign workflows as changes to business requirements dictate
?Generate and implement test strategies, including A/B multi-variant testing, to drive qualified traffic and revenue-building activities to ensure maximum profitability.
?Drive and manage email process ? layout, content, messaging, review and segmentation, and list management for maximum revenue and profitability.
?Monitor, analyze and report on campaign performance to maximize ROI and sales.
?Continual development of marketing automation education & required participation in online communities to expand learning opportunities.
?Coordination with web team to ensure analytical tracking and performance.
?Performs other duties as assigned.
?2-5 years marketihng experience with a minimum of 18 months experience working with an email and marketing automation platform (such as Eloqua, SilverPop, ExactTarget, Marketo), with Eloqua preferred.
?Bachelor s Degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education(preferred area of study: Marketing, Marketing Research, or other similar fields).
?Well-rounded marketing technologist familiar with industry best practices (inbound/outbound marketing, demand generation, etc.).
?Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation.
?Ability to understand workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle.
?Candidate must thrive in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment.
?Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success among this team of talented individuals.
?Must be able to provide online portfolio, email templates, or other work samples demonstrating relevant Eloqua experience.
