Position Description
This position develops, maintains, and applies design skills and industry knowledge of current design and production techniques to email communication between Newegg and its consumers.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with Email Marketing Manager and Supervisor to discuss business promotion needs for specific emails to ensure understanding and interpretation of business purpose.
Develop design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues.
Be creative and innovative in producing new ideas for email communication.
Develop graphics and layout for product illustrations for management and customer
Utilize a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design to work on design briefs
Maintain and keep abreast of development in Information Technology, particularly design programs.
Work with team of individuals such as copywriters, photographers, other designers, website designers, and marketing specialists to get projects completed in a cost effective and timely manner.
Sets realistic project deadlines to create timelines and determine project scope while staying within budgeted cost.
Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field
3 - 5 years working experience in marketing related business are
Familiar with graphics software tools, including Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator etc.
Working knowledge of latest computer packages with understanding of material costs
Good written and oral communication skills
Abilities Required
Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
Able to multitask and be detail oriented
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to be creative and imaginative
Possess good conceptual and design ability
