Email Marketing Manager Ooma
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Reports to: Director of Online Marketing
As Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of developing, optimizing and implementing automated and ad-hoc email campaigns that are aimed at increasing Ooma?s growth and revenue. This requires you to be familiar with funnel management, modern email marketing techniques, and have the ability to brainstorm around message strategies and topics.
This position sits in the Online Marketing team, which has responsibility for driving acquisition and engagement across Ooma?s portfolio of products and services. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven marketer who is passionate about delivering business performance, thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance organization, and excels in online and email marketing.
? Gather requirements from business owners
? Write copy for and lay out emails, with support from marketing and design staff
? Formulate and execute end-to-end campaign plans to optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including open rates, CTR, engagement, and conversion
? Manage list segmentation and develop customer segmentation strategies to increase engagement and retention and to get the right message to the right person at the right time
? Input, test, and send emails using Marketo. Ensure spam regulation compliance (CAN-SPAM)
? Own all metrics, including deliverability, opens, and clicks, and use results to drive future action
? Measure and evaluate ongoing financial performance of the business, identify risks and opportunities, and take pertinent actions to meet or exceed set targets
? Meet deadlines, balance multiple projects, and proactively communicate delivery and mitigate issues
? Build and maintain email calendar and email reporting dashboard and provide key learnings to internal stakeholders
? Work with cross-functional teams and design to build requirements for email functionality
? Stay current with email marketing best practices, strategies, and industry standards
Required Experience & Qualifications:
? 4+ years of experience in online marketing with emphasis of driving business performance
? Proven results in contributing revenue growth
? Experience in full suite of customer lifecycle management (i.e., awareness ? acquisition ? engagement ? retention)
? Expertise in data-driven marketing and customer segmentation
? Experience with Marketo, Google Analytics, CMS and configuring and/or running reports in Salesforce.com
? Undergraduate degree, MBA a plus

? Ability to learn quickly both technical and non-technical skills to efficiently execute on business initiatives
