The RingCentral Lead Generation team is looking for a rock-star Email Marketing Manager. Ideal candidates will have extensive Marketo expertise and proven experience designing, implementing, and executing successful automated nurture campaigns/programs. Successful candidates will demonstrate the knowledge and experience to confidently assume project management responsibilities for our data teams, drive an aggressive roadmap to enrich the quality of the marketing database and supercharge our demand generation efforts. The right candidate will also be a master storyteller that is adept at leveraging dynamic and engaging content to inspire and move people to take action. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage the implementation of sales and marketing facing automation systems are both musts. RingCentral moves fast and with agility, so startup DNA is required.
Complete email program ownership from development, implementation and optimization to post-analysis reporting
Lead the development of nurture programs and nurture reporting methodology using the Marketo Engagement Engine and CRM, lead-nurturing drip-nurture email programs ? optimizing through the use of A/B testing
Maintain industry knowledge of email deliverability standards including CAN-SPAM and compliance best practices
Support campaigns from the Marketing and Sales teams to drive engagement and fill the top of the funnel with more engaged, sales ready leads
Oversee customer and prospect database while using marketing analytics, customer segmentation and predictive modeling techniques
Support technical and functional specifications for solutions related to design of customer and prospect database
Manage the ongoing implementation of Marketo ? specifically with extensive experience with emails, forms, landing pages, distribution lists, suppression lists, contact groups, and filters
Monitor best practice use and configuration of Marketo; e.g. campaign hierarchies, naming conventions and reporting accordingly
Maintain email calendar: Manage new email requests and all communication with internal stakeholders to schedule emails to support their initiatives
Stay loyal to buyer personas through continuous research on questions, trends and events that motivate them ? and respond with content for each stage of their buying process.
Qualifications & Skills:
5-8 years working within a high functioning B2B email marketing and project management role
Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or other related discipline
Marketo Certified Expert or 2+ years experience working with Marketo, and proficiency with SalesForce.com
Industry marketing experience a plus
Experience with SQL and database management systems (building/optimizing SQL queries) a plus
Microsoft Office Suite (proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint)
