POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing team at NameMedia is seeking a talented and motivated Email/Marketing Automation Manager to join our team. Email marketing is an important sales driver at NameMedia, and we?ve recently invested in systems and services to support and promote substantial growth from new and existing customers. In this hands-on role the Email/Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for the development of our email marketing strategy, execution, tracking and reporting. This individual will bring their own creative ideas, along with industry best practices, to manage and grow revenue from the email channel, including retail strategies, lead nurture and trigger campaigns, and upsell/cross sell initiatives. NameMedia has a start-up environment, and as such this individual will have other marketing responsibilities that include campaign tracking setup and monitoring, collateral development, budget management and trade show logistics.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management: Responsible for briefing, managing and optimizing creative email campaigns. Identify opportunities to increase revenue from existing database and through acquisition. Ensure projects follow a process that includes creative development, list selection, and approvals. Serve as marketing point of contact for internal stakeholders.
Marketing Strategy: Ensure project requests are on strategy and prioritize based on business impact. Provide feedback and campaign recommendations to management.
Marketing Messaging: Ensure creative effectively addresses the target audience. Adhere to brand guidelines for creative and copy development. Promote offers and use retail best practices to drive increased response. Refine creative messaging based on winning messages.
Analysis/Reporting: Monitor campaigns daily to maximize performance. Compile weekly and monthly campaign performance reports. Analyze and recommend campaign improvements based on analysis. Ensure results meet revenue objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
College degree +
4-6 years relevant marketing experience.
Previous experience with Eloqua a plus; experience with other email marketing automation platforms is a requirement.
Previous experience with Salesforce a plus.
Works well in a team environment as well as individually.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to optimize campaigns and drive improvements.
Experience with creative testing and audience segmentation.
Web marketing/ecommerce experience strongly preferred.
Must be highly self-motivated, possess strong organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload.
Start-up/entrepreneurial attitude and approach to the role is essential including strong sense of ownership, initiative and enthusiasm.
