StrongMail Systems is searching for an Email Production Specialist to join our Marketing Services Team to code and deploy client email campaigns and related landing pages. This person will focus on coding HTML email, leveraging CSS, XSL and responsive template coding. This position will also require diligent testing and quality assurance for all client email across browsers and device types. Reporting to the Manager Campaign Services.Responsibilities:
Responsible for building email layouts and templates using HTML, CSS and XSL. Experience with responsive email coding and device detection a plus.
Responsible for optimizing and testing emails to ensure deliverability and quality rendering across multiple email platforms and devices.
Determining optimal execution of project requests as determined and dictated by systems strengths, best practices, client objectives, budgets and deadlines provided.
Executes day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, testing, tagging and deployment. As well as coding of basic and advanced dynamic content logic, multi-variant and A/B tests and triggered work-flow campaigns.
Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML/XSL templates and other aspects of email execution, as required.
Stays abreast of and recommends email coding best practices.
Experience and Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge in HTML, XSL and CSS programming specific for email campaigns.
Prior email development experience with major ESPs (e.g. Responsys, YesMail, Cheetahmail, ExactTarget, Lyris, etc.)
Expert in email deliverability and rendering across multiple email platforms and web browsers.
Well-rounded technologist in email marketing with current knowledge of industry best practices, including mobile optimization techniques.
Proven success working in cross functional teams
Strong ability to establish priorities and make decisions
Strong project planning and management skills
Knowledge of StrongMail is a plus
