Embedded Software Engineer LitePoint

Embedded software engineers are responsible for developing the software required to control our 0.5 to 6 GHz wireless test equipment.

Responsibilities:

Develop multiplatform embedded firmware for LitePoint new products.
Develop automated test scripts to exercise the firmware and hardware. These test scripts should be able to isolate problems in the design
Develop firmware design specifications, communicate and verify these specifications with the RF/logic designers, and implement these in a timely and high quality manner


Required Experience:

3-5 years experience developing multi-tasking/multi-threaded embedded software in C/C++
Experience with distributed application development using TCP/IP and/or USB
Experience with Windows/Linux Systems level development a plus
Experience with drivers for USB and PCIexpress a plus
Experience with Visual Studio C/C+
Experience with structured software development
Experience with developing automated software test scripts
1-3 experience using RF instruments, scopes, logic analyzers
Strong individual contributor with a strong sense for quality and teamwork.
