The person in this position will be responsible for development, testing and verification of low-level, device-specific software for LynuxWorks flagship, DO-178B/ARINC 653 certified operating system.Duties
In this capacity, the Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing customer-specific requirements, making design decisions and ensuring compliance with all DO-178B Level A requirements during verification activities. Experience with real-time operating systems, board support software, PowerPC architectures is required.
Skills
Strong C or C knowledge, 5 years experience. Comfortable with UNIX and /or Windows development environments. Device-driver development experience highly desired. Software development experience on one or more common embedded processor types (PowerPC, MIPS, X86, ARM, etc). Experience in embedded systems programming with LynxOS, VxWorks or embedded Linux a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills. Self-motivated and independent. BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
