SolarBridge Technologies, Inc. has developed an innovative photovoltaic microinverter and monitoring solution that dramatically improves reliability, increases energy production, and simplifies installation for solar systems. We are seeking a candidate for the position of Embedded Systems Engineer. In this position you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining microprocessor code that controls microinverters for ACPV applications. You will work with all relevant groups (hardware, software, quality, etc) to achieve program goals and meet critical time-to-market product deadlines. Principal duties include developing and testing microprocessor code, developing and running regression tests to validate firmware releases, and helping to analyze field returns.Responsibilities:
Design microprocessor code for state-of-the-art microinverters for ACPV
Design functional and module level regression test of firmware
Work with test team to develop system level DVT test
Work with application to analyze firmware aspect of field returns
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in design of microprocessor code using C
Solid debug and test skills
Strong background in using lab equipment (i.e. logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) to test code functionality
Experience in timing critical, interrupt-based design
