What you?ll doAs an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for all phases of software development targeting embedded systems. This includes design, coding, integration, and debugging of major portions of software projects such as embedded web services, device drivers, communications protocols, and other embedded software applications.
How you?ll do it:
Design and develop organized, easy to read and maintainable software source code for embedded systems.
Lead and review code from offshore embedded software development teams in India or Asia
Participate in API and SDK design and development that allows for easy adoption
Creation of test automation and hardware simulations including design and development of virtual machines, emulators and simulators
Follow Agile/SCRUM development methodology
What you?ll need:
A proven track record of being able to deliver embedded solutions from infancy to production for consumer products
Able to show examples of taking on an existing production code base and improving upon it
Experience with RTOS?s such as Linux and ThreadX
Familiarity with development of different wireless communication such as WiFi and Zigbee
Familiarity with XML based web services
Thorough understanding of multithreading and synchronization fundamentals
Excellent spoken and written English (and Mandarin Chinese is a plus)
What you?ve done:
Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering with 8+ years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer engineering with 5+ years of experience
