MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review, purge and assess the accuracy and completeness of the contents of documents contained in Federal employees' Official Personnel Folders (OPFs), whether in hard copy format or electronic format
Develop and administer policy and procedural guidance for employee relations and related areas such as labor relations, ethics and Alternative
Dispute Resolution programs.
Provide ongoing program advisory services to all levels.
Apply advanced employee relations laws, regulations, principles, precedents, and policy
Review policies and procedures to ensure consistency.
Draft written adverse actions.
Bachelor's Degree+3 years' experience, or 6 years' experience without bachelors
Knowledge of Federal laws, regulations, procedures, and relevant case law in order to advise management on disciplinary and performance-based adverse actions, performance management, grievances, and appeals.
Ability to research, analyze and evaluate complex issues or situations and make recommendations regarding alternatives or options.
Demonstrated ability to write Agency policies, notices, briefing memoranda, disciplinary and performance-based adverse action notices, responses to grievances, newsletters, and benefit determination notices.
Ability to provide management advisory services and build effective relationships with customers
Must be a U.S. Citizen
