Responsibilities:
--Responsible for all aspects of hardware emulation of complex SoC designs.
--Create the infrastructure, methodology, and tool flow for building and testing complex SoC designs in hardware emulation.
--Work closely with RTL, Verification, and Software engineers to design, debug, and bring up complex systems.
Education/Qualifications:
--A minimum of BSEE with 8+ years of experience in Emulation, FPGA Prototyping, and RTL design.
--Experience with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs.
--Experience with Mentor Veloce, Cadence Palladium, or Synopsys EVE.
--Experience with synthesis, place and route, and timing closure.
--Experience with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes for lab debug.
--Knowledge of ASIC design, chip verification and test, and system software is required.
--Experience in Verilog behavioral and RTL coding.
--Experience in simulation test benches, BFM development, and design verification.
--Experience in logic synthesis and timing analysis.
--Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, etc.
--Experience with buses/protocols/standards such as PCIe, SATA, Ethernet, DDR.
--Good analytical problem solving skills and the ability to work independently on challenging projects are required to excel in this position.
