Allegro seeks to hire Energy Software Consultant based in Dallas or Houston. As an Energy Software Consultant, you will work as a team member or as an individual consultant on a product implementation, enhancement, or integration projects with our clients in the energy industry.
Challenges of the position include:
Works as a member of a team on product implementation enhancement, and/or integration projects for clients on site, as needed)
Establish interfaces between new application and existing business systems.
Provide security training on the application level.
Business process research, presentation and communication of project objectives and recommended solutions.
Issue and enhance test cases, issue resolution, analysis and trouble shooting.
Continuously review user documentation & process documentation and improve software expertise.
Communication with support, quality assurance and development; issue entry and tracking, help desk communication.
Data entry.
Qualifications for consideration:
Bachelors degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering or closely related field
12 months experience or completion of college-level coursework related to database administration and design, SQL, and/or Crystal Report writing.
An enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem solving skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to train others.
Extensive knowledge of Windows 2000/ XP, SQL.
Extensive travel (80%+).
