Allegro seeks to hire an Energy Software Consultant. As an Energy Software Consultant, you will work as a team member or as an individual consultant on a product implementation with our customers in the energy industry.
Challenges of the position include:
Works as a member of a team on product implementation enhancement, and/or integration projects for clients to convert, configure, validate, and support on site, as needed.
Design and develop interfaces between Allegro and existing business systems.
Provide training on the application.
Business process research, presentation and communication of project objectives and recommended solutions.
Perform issue resolution, analysis and trouble shooting.
Participate in the extension, design, and validation of test cases.
Continuously review user documentation & process documentation and improve software expertise.
Communication with support, quality assurance and development; issue entry and tracking, help desk communication.
Qualifications for consideration:
Bachelors degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering or closely related field
12 months experience or completion of college-level coursework related to database administration and design, SQL, and/or Crystal Report writing.
An enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem solving skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to train others.
Extensive knowledge of Windows 2000/ XP,MS Windows products, Crystal Reports, and SQL.
Extensive travel
