The Engagement Manager plays a critical role in ensuring both continued revenue growth and successful engagements with legal departments at Fortune 500 companies. The Engagement Manager is an integral part of the team involved in the sales cycle, driving growth and new products, providing account oversight and engaging with internal and external clients at all levels.
The Engagement Manager will:
Personally drive revenue growth of core insourcing business with ownership for building new accounts and expanding existing relationships and engagements.
Manage Boston office insourcing engagements for existing and new clients.
Liaise with clients and coach attorneys to ensure satisfaction with existing engagements; manage challenging client situations and resolve issues.
Effectively build client relationships with Boston area companies and oversee the day to day activities for a portfolio of clients.
Work with Attorney Development to support the pipeline and development of Axiom?s Boston attorney population.
Successfully market Axiom attorneys for specific client engagements and manage existing engagements.
Capture and help to implement best practices across client development and engagement management activities.

Our ideal candidate:
4 to 6 years of business development, account management, or other professional or operational experience in a client services role with full profit/loss responsibility. This includes experience working with senior level decision makers.
Experience in the legal industry ideal. This experience could come from an account management role serving legal departments, an advisory role impacting legal departments as a stakeholder group, or from 2 to 3 years practicing with a top law firm.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Keen ability to build laterally and nurture client relationships;
High emotional IQ and innate ability to focus on clients needs and consistently raises the bar on service excellence;
Knowledge of selling/closing and customer service techniques;
Significant project management experience and meticulous attention to detail;
Superb time management, decision-making and problem solving skills;
Thrives in both individual and team environments;
Expert high-impact communication and presentation skills;
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others;
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (including PowerPoint and Excel);

Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Bachelor?s degree required.
JD or MBA preferred.
