The Opportunity
Eduventures is seeking an experienced project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. The Project Manager will play a key role across the organization leading large-scale projects and consulting engagements and managing project teams and client relationships. The Project Manager will be responsible for independently implementing research and consulting projects from beginning to end, (project kick-off to delivery of final results), conducting data collection, analysis, client recommendations, deliverable development, and ongoing client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of these roles include, but are not limited to:
Point person for managing and leading large-scale projects, consulting engagements, and project teams
Serving as the primary Eduventures interface with senior executives at client organizations
Managing and/or executing projects flawlessly ? on time and on budget ? independently or in concert with others
Creating project segments, assigning responsibilities to team members, and ensuring completion consistent with predefined standards
Transforming key data into clear graphics as well as compelling written findings and actionable recommendations
Developing well-founded, evidence-based recommendations to clients that are aligned with their objectives and goals
Presenting results to direct clients and other client stakeholders
Expanding the team?s research competencies with new methodologies and instruments
Requirements
Exceptional project management skills; proven ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple projects on-time, on-budget, and with high quality
Proven ability to help organizations think through and solve business problems
Ability to independently define inquiries, scope and frame issues, and select appropriate research techniques and methodologies
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Experience in presentation and report building, story boarding, and synthesis of information
Strong presentation and communication skills (both oral and written)
Demonstrated attention to detail and history of accountability for results
Proven self-management skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional interest in education, especially higher education
Bachelor?s degree required; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience
This is a full-time, salaried role with benefits, based in our Boston office.
