Managed Services is the fastest-growing part of Axiom, and is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of Axiom?s projects and outsourced legal service offerings.

What We?re Looking For
This is a truly rare opportunity for a strong problem solver with excellent client relationship skills who wants to help drive innovation in a rapidly changing legal environment. The legal landscape is on a precipice of change, and Axiom is very much at the forefront of this movement.
The Engagement Manager (EM) will:
Manage and implement large scale, complex projects or multiple, smaller scale projects. The projects will entail either managing a client-facing deliverable or launching an outsourcing deployment
As such, the EM will manage the project from scoping and requirements development through deployment. The EM will be asked to:
Develop and manage a project plan
Conduct resource planning
Identify risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation plans
Proactively manage and monitor execution of deliverables and status
Manage critical path, dependencies, and contingencies
Ensure the project stakeholders' expectations are understood and managed, and
Ensure that the project team follows all quality assurance processes
Assist in the design of Axiom solutions as required
Working in conjunction with the Axiom Practice Management team, build client understanding, confidence, and enthusiastic acceptance for proposed solutions, resulting in Axiom winning the proposed work
Contribute to building Axiom?s proprietary Intellectual Property in the rapidly changing Managed Contracts Services business area.
Operate within a collaborative environment with highly motivated colleagues and interact with all parts of the business, including Attorney Hiring & Professional Development and all corporate functions (marketing, finance, HR, IT, etc.). Lead and contribute to altering and developing new internal workflows to accommodate new service offerings.
Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

This position will be based in New York. The candidate would need to be open to project travel as required.
Experience & Qualifications:
4 to 6 years of client service and problem solving leadership within a leading consulting firm
Significant project management experience and meticulous attention to detail
Relentless focus on client?s needs and consistently raises the bar on service excellence
Superb time management, judgment, decision-making and problem solving skills
Thrives in both individual and collaborative team environments
Expert high-impact communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (including PowerPoint and Excel. MS Project experience highly recommended)

Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
MBA and/or JD preferred
