Do you love social? We?re expanding our Adoption Consulting practice focused on building the social workplace, furthering the future of work, and making social real.
With a focus on people engagement, business alignment, and technology enablement ? we are looking for an Engagement Manager to drive adoption consulting engagements for the implementation and ongoing customer care of NewsGator?s Social Sites deployments. This position will serve as a trusted advisor and customer advocate.
You will be working directly with NewsGator?s enterprise clients at all levels, in both a pre- and post- sale capacity. Frequent travel and day-to-day interaction with project teams, end users, and executive champions are required.
Drive efforts to align the social software initiatives to business objectives using proven organizational change management methods.
Consult on meaningful approaches to drive user adoption and establish a framework for success in making social real across the enterprise.
Provide pre-sales support for business development, scope management, assessments, statement of work creation, and program schedules.
Manage large technology deployment teams of engineers and business experts in the successful execution of the project plan.
Own the successful and professional completion, delivery, review and iteration of all project and consulting deliverables such as communication, measurement, rollout and control plans.
Report, escalate, and manage to resolution with the client and engineering any product issues and enhancements as required by the customer.
Create, maintain, and enhance a knowledge base of customer stories, best practices, reusable consulting artifacts, and FAQ?s.
Participate in thought leadership activities such as public speaking, blogging, and other public relations activities as it relates to enhancing the reputation and brand recognition of NewsGator.
Bachelor?s degree in technology management, organizational leadership, business management or related work experience
Minimum 5 years? experience in strategic management consulting, business analysis, organizational development or change management
Proven ability to be ?passionate? about customer success
Demonstrable thought leadership with social software and the future of work
Project management skills and disciplines for enterprise software deployment
Proven ability to effectively manage customer escalations either onsite or remotely, including difficult and potentially hostile customer interactions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Large scale OD interventions and meeting facilitation skills
Expertise with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or 2013 technologies
