Engagement Manager/Program Manager, Public Sector Acquia
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Acquia is looking for a full-time Engagement Manager/Program Manager to lead a high profile, large-scale web development team dedicated to supporting multiple Drupal code bases and digital strategy efforts for a federal client.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and team player who is passionate about open-source, web development, and building highly engaged teams. This team member will be both leading a program and managing team members as well as working with other departments in a matrix environment. The candidate should have a solid understanding of financial management, human capital management, and federal regulations and procurement guidelines.
Experience running large-scale web development projects, while managing a complex ecosystem of partner, internal, and client staff in the delivery of large-scale application and website builds is a must. Candidate should have a strong sense of methodology (agile, waterfall, etc), prioritization and team management, and perspective on best practice and thought-leadership in the delivery of solutions.
To be successful in the role candidates must have a robust attention to detail, and an ability to negotiate mutually successful outcomes and teams, while driving budget, margin, revenue forecasts, project quality, and on time delivery of solutions to Acquia?s highest profile clients.
Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to get a security clearance.

The requirement is for a full time position, located on-site in NW Washington, DC.
Ensure contractual compliance
Ensure reporting, risk documentation and management, and financial reporting for the entire contract
Ensure margins and financial monitoring, responsible for maintaining and exceeding the margin expectations for profitability
Management of all timelines
Full ownership of time, scope, budget
Full contractual management of all subcontractor contracts
Management of process implementation (creation of process is a collaborative effort with the functional leads)
Identify and report on resourcing concerns
Manage issues, concerns, and risks.
Conduct periodic as well as scheduled weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting
Responsible for financial forecasting and budgeting for the contract
Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and contract expansion. Work with sales and practice director to pursue.
Responsible for technical and pricing proposals for BPA calls.
Responsible for customer service and client satisfaction with non-technical deliverables and interactions
Management and quality control, tracking of invoices, creating project harmony

Foster a creative, collaborative and productive work environment for all employees
Ongoing management of client expectations
Management of subcontractors and partners
Stakeholder management with executive level clients
Facilitate collaborative team meetings with multiple project teams and client
Lead management response to urgent or critical items, including site outages and
Ensure close collaboration between program team and Acquia interdepartmental partners
Executive client briefings on high priorities
Oversee SLA requirements to ensure compliance
Oversee and ensure excellent customer relationships and customer service
Oversee and ensure proper management of the Kanban process
Ensure team members have the tools, resources, information, and capabilities needed to do assigned work
Manage out of office needs, coverage requests, and backup plans with capacity and SLAs in mind. Notify the Sr. Director of any concerns.
Senior executive and contract briefing
Manage and report on team capacity
Review team capacity, risks, vacation needs, and concerns and report to Sr. Director
Weekly 1-1 meetings with team members
Weekly checkins with partners and subcontractors
Monitor and report risk items to Sr. Director
Prepare and deliver weekly status reports
Lead strategy meetings for new features/products as necessary
Ensure proper sizing, scoping, and planning occurs for left side Kanban project requests
Monthly project reports prepared and delivered
Reports on monthly SLAs
Support Acquia?s thought leadership in the federal community through direct participation in events, presentations, meetups and encouraging team member presentations
