Summary of Position:
The Astadia Engagement Manger is responsible for overall management and delivery of projects and clients within the related designated practice. This role will include analyzing client processes, understanding client?s business landscape, defining requirements and then expertly delivering Astadia solutions and strategies. The Consultant must be capable of supervising/leading a project team, managing a complex project, and will be a recognized expert in one or more vertical markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage client relationships and establish internal and external project expectation
Facilitate key business meetings including discovery workshops, business process reviews, data and integration workshops, status updates, and others as required
Manage project issues and risks, up/cross selling and oversight of team deliverables
Contribute to definition of industry best practice through subject matter expertise
Support sales organization as required including project scoping and SOW
Deliver within the scope of the SOW; meet or exceed project profit targets
Attain or exceed billable utilization target of 85% for self and team members
Provide appropriate direction and feedback to team members
Ensure team will identify, document, and drive resolution for any program issues
Other duties may be assigned
(Minimum 7+ years of the following demonstrated skill/experience)
Thorough understanding of designated market, key industry partners and trends in the marketplace
Demonstrated leadership, team building and management skills
2 years? experience managing Salesforce.com projects with certifications considered a plus
Excellent advanced client-facing skills including the ability to influence and negotiate with clients
Proven track record of customer focus including the ability to foster long-term client relationships
Ability to manage consultant and/or developer resources
Ability to manage classroom and train end users on use of application in consideration of client business processes
Expertise in project planning, forecasting, reporting and budgeting
Advanced facilitation and communication skills including business writing and presentations
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and energize a project team
Driven to exceed customer and project goals
Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems or related field preferred; equivalent combination of skill/experience will be considered. Master?s degree is considered a plus.
