The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing Cornerstone?s enterprise customer base. This position requires a unique and talented individual that excels in multiple business disciplines including business development, solution selling, consulting, project management and customer service.
You'll divide your time between developing relationships, managing escalations, impacting customer satisfaction ratings and identifying new business opportunities within those key enterprise customers. You will work closely with key resources within Cornerstone to ensure that you and the customer are well-supported and successful. Due to time zone differences, the Account Manager will need to manage a flexible schedule that provides for both access by local customers and headquarters-based colleagues.
To be a good fit for this position you'll have at least five years of customer-facing, account management, project management, and ideally sales or consulting experience. You will need business process and technical aptitudes. Strong sales acumen, negotiation capabilities and a passion for winning business are strong assets. You will be or will quickly become an expert on the Integrated Learning and Talent Management industry, the Cornerstone application and the business processes that it supports. Excellent customer service skills are a must, as well as a positive and upbeat attitude to build satisfied and loyal and loyal clients, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Finally, you'll need the professional maturity and savvy to manage and prioritize your time, work autonomously as a remote employee, and interact effectively with business and technical professionals internally and externally.
This position will report to the Northern Europe Director of Account Services. The Success in this role may provide a host of additional opportunities for growth such as travel, career progression, and significant financial upside. This position exists for the purpose of providing the highest quality of Project Management directly to our clients. The primary function of this role is to assist clients with the business planning and configuration for integration and implementation of the Cornerstone Learning and Talent Management suite of products. You will also facilitate workshops around Talent Management best-practices, Transformation enablers (i.e. Change Management, Governance and Process Re-engineering).
This role will manage and drive projects at client sites and remotely.Create account strategies and plans for key customer accounts in order to achieve stated customer and Cornerstone business objectives
Responsibilities
Support sales, alliances and account management in the client acquisition process and in incremental sales from a services perspective
Gather business and technical requirements, customize and develop presentations and discussions, to successfully highlight how and why Cornerstone?s Services will make our clients successful
Clearly demonstrating the value of Cornerstone Consulting Services to diverse audiences, both in person and virtually;
Author scope of work (SOW) documents
Overall Project framing and Project Management Office responsibilities
Project plan development, tracking, and management
Proactive and reactive issue management
Completion of related implementation deliverables
Define customer business requirements and prepare gap analysis
Functional and technical analysis
Design configuration documents and lead full or in portion the design effort for implementation projects
Work directly with customer personnel and Cornerstone professional services team to define and specify application requirements
Strategic Implementation Workshops (i.e. Talent Management Best-Practices, Change Management Framework, Governance Models).
Issue and budget management support
Quality Assurance
Assist training of clients in the areas of solutions, implementation, customer care, education services, release management
Provide on-going coaching and support for clients
Develop solid relationships with clients
Resolve team conflicts as required
Travel to Client meetings and Company offices, as necessary
Required Skills and Experience
B.A/B.S or equivalent experience or Project Management certification
Strong background in business process or professional services consulting experience and Talent Management, Learning, or Performance solution implementations
Experience in consulting environment as a Functional Lead
Experience leading Change Management of transformation initiatives a strong plus
Ability to deal with and resolve complex customer business issues
Solid understanding of consulting processes, project management and software implementation
Strong business analysis skills, business process redesign skills and business process implementation skills
Strong Customer Service orientation
Excellent client facing skills
Established presentation skills both written and oral
Excellent people management skills
Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, high energy, demanding entrepreneurial environment,
Prior consulting experience
Experience in Learning & Talent Management industry
Experience in large-scale software application implementation, preferably on-demand human capital management solution experience
Fluent in English and German. Additional European languages a strong advantage
We are looking for a professional with a proven ability to deliver under pressure and within deadlines across several parallel projects. Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
