The Engagement Planner role lives within iCrossing?s Live Media Studio, the industry?s first-ever resource dedicated to real-time marketing ? using analytics-based insights to engage audiences and develop content. The Live Media Studio consists of award-wining content creators and WOMMA-trained audience managers dedicated to helping marketers build connected brands. As an Engagement Planner you will act as the nexus between day-to-day execution and the strategy leads on all Studio executions. The Engagement Planner must be able to think strategically, plan and execute on content and audience-based marketing programs.
Responsibilities:
Involvement in the strategic process as the engagement SME, providing insights into the best strategies and tactics to build audiences, engage audiences and amplify a client?s reach through social media
Leads the creation of tactical strategies that guide executional programs, working closely with the Editorial Director to craft one holistic editorial and engagement plan
Plays a planning role, guiding audience management and outreach activities to ensure activities support the editorial plan and align with the overarching program strategy, to generate the maximum engagement from audiences
Works internally with team to establish engagement best practices and helps formalize iCrossing?s engagement best practices and procedures
Contributes to thought leadership around engagement practices, measurement and process
Helps brands develop governance and escalation policies for social media
Works with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing plans
Works on 1-2 accounts as the engagement lead and will be responsible for directing the audience managers on those accounts
Understands how to interpret social media data to optimize a client?s performance and provide actionable recommendations for continued improvement
Qualifications:
Understands the interaction between strategy, content and audience management
Is very familiar with all major forms of social media and has actively cultivated his/her own network on at least one of the social media sites
Has proven experience helping to create and implement social media / real-time marketing campaigns
4-6 years experience in related field (e.g., interactive agency, marketing, advertising, market research, public relations)
Is analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities as it relates to real time marketing
Digital marketing or social media marketing required
Proven deep understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Foursquare
Experience using listening & reporting tools like Facebook Insights, Radian6 and BuzzMetrics
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Works well with cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Basic understanding of SEO and SEM a plus-
