The Engine Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly and disassembly of engines, both existing and prototype. The successful candidate will:Assemble and teardown engines and various assembly
Document data
Write reports regarding findings
Measure parts and clearances using precision measuring tools
Keep work areas clean
Requirements:
Vast knowledge of engine components and engine functionality
Engine assembly and teardown experience
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnosis skills
Use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial bore gauges and calipers
Use of hand tools
Basic computer knowledge
Desirable Skills:
Engine rebuild (on job preferred)
Welding
Machining
Part measuring experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
