Engine CFD Achates Power

The Engine CFD will be involved in all phases of the CFD analysis of gas flow in an internal combustion engine, including CAD model construction, mesh creation, pre- and post-processing of data, and presentation of final results. The work environment is fast paced with demanding deadlines. Cooperative interaction with other team members is vital.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Engineering
Experience with internal combustion engine air system component CFD analysis
Demonstrated working knowledge of CAD packages, meshing software and commercial CFD codes for 3-D applications
Advanced problem solving skills and aptitude for striking a balance between application of academic theory and engineering judgment

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with diesel engine component design and engine development
Two-stroke engine gas dynamics and air management
