Airbnb is looking for an engineer that is truly passionate about the front end. We want someone who displays mastery of Javscript, CSS, and HTML. You value snappy UI, efficient code, and beautiful user experiences. Our ideal candidate has a CS background, but we are most interested in your skills and personality.

Responsibilities:
Implement public facing pages on Airbnb.com
Help make UI and UX decisions
Prototype experimental features
Build reusable CSS/JS frameworks to simplify development
Participation in general engineering needs of the company
Requirements:
Exceptional proficiency using HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX in a production environment
Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
Strong CS fundamentals gained through Bachelor?s degree in CS, HCI or related discipline or equivalent industry experience
Personal projects that show and aptitude for front-end engineering and product design sense
Ability to work in areas outside of their usual comfort zone and get things done quickly
Desirable:
Experience using an MVC framework in a production environment particularly with Ruby-on-Rails
Experience using MySQL in a production environment
