Responsibilities:
Build tools and frameworks that help scale the business - photography operations, CRM, SEO, marketing efforts, customer support tools
Translate high-level business needs into well-defined and scoped functionality
Implement new functionality, improve existing infrastructure
Requirements:
Sound product sense in relation to operational procedures
Excellent communicator who enjoys interfacing with teams outside of product and engineering
Experience using a dynamic programming language in a production environment (or personal projects)
Strong CS fundamentals gained through Bachelor?s degree in CS, Math or related discipline or equivalent industry experience
Personal projects that show and aptitude for engineering and product sense
Ability to work in areas outside of their usual comfort zone and get things done quickly
Desirable:
Experience using Ruby-on-Rails in a production environment
Experience using HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX in a production environment
Experience at a high growth startup building and administering tools and frameworks to help scale an organisation
