Three Rings, an online games studio, is currently hiring software engineers to work on our in-production titles, Puzzle Pirates, Spiral Knights, and Doctor Who: Worlds in Time.Three Rings maintains a strong emphasis on engineering innovation and excellence. The successful applicant will have:
Knowledge of Java, our primary server platform
Familiarity with Unix environments and SQL (MySQL, Postgres)
Knowledge of good software engineering practices and a willingness to learn
A solid academic background, not necessarily in Software Engineering
Some experience with Flash is desirable, but not required
Three Rings engineers have the opportunity to participate across all levels of the game creation process and to work on a wide variety of different types of games, from 3D MMOs to Flash games, from the PC to tablets and phones. We look forward to hearing from you.
