Information and data security provides a vital role at Airbnb and we are looking for an experienced security professional with proven track record of success to provide thoughtful analysis and solutions to address and manage information security risks while supporting the Company?s growth goals.
Responsibilities:
Create, staff, and manage a comprehensive security program by defining guidelines for implementation of processes and standards across all business units
Provide ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the information security functions through training of staff, documentation of processes, development and acquisition of necessary technology
Develop, track, report on and communicate an extensive and effective set of key performance indicators measuring product and technology security across the enterprise
Work closely with other teams responsible for security and engineering functions, with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively to identify and manage risk
Manage information security incident process, be responsible for managing existing and emerging vendor relationships, cloud providers, managed services providers and SaaS providers
Proactively identify emerging risks and develop strategies to address them
Strategize and implement security compliance awareness to ensure that security practices are addressed at all stages of product development
Requirements:
5+ years security experience
Knowledge of potential vulnerabilities including XSS, CSRF, DoS, SQL injection and other emerging methods
Experience attaining third-party certifications, such as PCI, SSAE-16, SAS-70, ISO 27001 and similar standards
Significant understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud, network, server-based environments, managed services and SaaS products
Deep expertise in risk mitigation, security assessments, audits, root cause analysis, software frameworks (such as Ruby on Rails, Hadoop, Linux stack, OSX, wireless systems, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms
Unquestioned integrity, discretion and commitment to business ethics
Bachelors degree from accredited university
