As Test & Scribe Engineer you will specify, implement and validate metrology and test equipment on Stion?s Pilot and Production lines. The successful candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment. A blend of strong technical skills and an ability to lead projects and people are highly valued. This is a fast-paced start-up environment that is rapidly growing with customer demand.Primary responsibilities and Essential Functions:
As Test & Scribe Engineer you will specify, implement and validate metrology and test equipment on Stion?s Pilot and Production lines. You will also oversee module characterization equipment such as I-V and HiPot testers, Laser & Mechanical Scribe Tools.
Responsible for sustaining test and scribe equipment on Stion Pilot Line
Project Management of instrument and tool deliveries, installation, commissioning, and release to production
Troubleshooting or upgrading on production or pilot line inspection systems
Locate and diagnose failures using standard electronics equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, specifications, manuals and/or instructions
Help process engineers in documenting and putting through engineering change control production processes with work instructions and standard operating procedures
Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards
A member of the Emergency Response Team
Positive ?can do? work attitude, willingness to be a hands-on contributor, and ability to work well with colleagues at all levels & departments are critical
Qualification Requirements (Knowledge Skills, Abilities, Experience, Training, Education):
Engineer with 5+ years of experience
Strong analytical skills
Bachelors Degree ? Mechanical/EE Engineering, Physics, Optics or equivalent
Laser Optics Background
MS Project, Office
CAD ? Solidworks, Inventor, ACAD a plus
