Engineering Intern Apptera
Key ResponsibilitiesWork with engineering team to develop high-quality mobile application for most popular smart phones
Work with engineering team to develop web and mobile web applications
Work with engineering team to develop end-to-end test plans and use cases, automating scripts and processes, and pre-release risk evaluation and analysis
Agile development with ability to react quickly to changing requirements and business needs in this fast-paced environment
Participate in all phases of our software development life cycle to convert concepts and specifications into released applications and features
Aggressively and quickly development, test, and deploy these mobile and web apps on schedule
Qualifications
Smart phone application development using the Android SDK/framework and or iPhone SDK, Cocoa Touch, Objective-C
Experience in creating easy to use web-based user interface using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, jQueryMobile, or other JavaScript libraries
Software development experience using Java, JDBC and SaaS (REST, Thrift, Protocol Buffers)
Strong object oriented design and programming skills and ability to optimize code for size and performance
Experience with NoSql technologies such as Cassandra and Hive is a plus
Good communication skills and proven ability to interact effectively with other team members
Enthusiastic, organized, positive, a self starter
Have a passion for technology and consumer internet and mobile services; love learning about new industry trends and making an impact
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring high levels of team interaction and collaboration
Have a B.S. or M.S. in computer science or currently working towards one
