Chemical Engineers typically get assigned to these functional groups: Systems, Manufacturing/Test, or Technology.
Mechanical Engineers to: Systems, Manufacturing/Test, Design, or Mechanical Components.
Electrical or Computer Science Engineers to: Manufacturing/Test, Electrical or Software.
Manufacturing or Industrial Engineers to: Manufacturing/Test, or Design.
Successful candidates will get assigned to a specific project in an Integrated Product Team (IPD) environment. Task set will vary based upon their functional group and project phase.
BS in Engineering ? Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Manufacturing, Industrial
Experience (hands-on, analytical, or lab environment) is highly desirable.
Chemical Engineers: Desirable skills include system-level modeling using tools such as Aspen or Matlab/Simulink.
Mechanical Engineers: Desirable skills include knowledge of PROe, CAD, structural analysis, or CFD analysis.
Electrical or Computer Science Engineers: Desirable skills include knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and/or knowledge of programming languages.
Manufacturing or Industrial Engineers: Desirable skills include some level of practical hands-on experience.
