Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
Lab Equipment - inventory control, tracking, labeling, calibration, and repairs
Lab supplies ? maintain, request and budget supplies
Assembly services ? manage assembly process flow
Manage engineering laboratory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training assembly/rework/technician resources
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
Competency is based on: education, training, skills and experience. In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and competencies:
Minimum of 5 years lab manager experience
Strong organizational skills
Experience working with test and diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal generators
Enjoy hands-on work and exhibit a high mechanical aptitude
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal interaction skills
The following traits are highly valued:
Project management skills
RF Characterization experience
LabVIEW, VBA, and Matlab programming experience
Education and Experience:
ASEE or ASEET preferred.
