Description:This position will be a liaison/project manager to develop various cast and fabricated parts for the new engine being developed at our client location.
Duties:This task with require the candidate to design the concept and navigate the development process, work the suppliers and offsite teams to develop cast and fabricated engine components. These components will be flywheel housings, valve covers, front gear train housings, oil pans, and numerous mounting brackets.
Qualifications:?Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
?Design experience in heavy equipment, construction or mining equipment industry a plus
?Pro/E experience required
?Casting design experience required
?Request and interpret analysis and perform limited FEA studies
?Knowledge of engines and engine components
