Freescale is currently seeking top graduates to participate in the 2013/2014 Engineering Rotation Program (ERP). This highly-selective program originated in the late 1960?s and is limited to a certain number of participants annually. Many of our former ERP participants have continued on to become senior business leaders within our organization.
The purpose of Freescale?s ERP is to develop the technical leadership capabilities of high-potential recent college graduates, through meaningful job rotations and real-world work experiences to develop diverse, well-rounded employees who can execute on Freescale?s business objectives. Through rotation assignments (four rotations at 12 weeks each), the program participant will:
Gain and demonstrate technical skills and knowledge in different disciplines such as design, design tools, product and device engineering
Gain an understanding of what it takes to successfully design, develop and evaluate products/systems
Acquire product, customer, organization and business information
Develop a professional network across organizations and job functions
Place in a position with Freescale that best aligns with personal career goals and organization/business needs
Possible engineering rotation assignments will include Design (RF, Analog, etc), Applications, Product, Test, and Technical Marketing. In addition, opportunities will exist in Sales, Supply Chain / Manufacturing, and Quality.
3.50 GPA or above
Qualified candidates will have graduated within the past year
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or computer engineering and emphasis to the following areas:
Circuit Design (RF, Analog and mixed signal , digital)
Product & Test Engineering
Relevant work experience or previous co-op/internship in the semiconductor industry is preferred
Demonstrated scholastic and leadership achievement
